POSTCARDS RECEIVED

UPDATE: I did it!

It took me a year. It cost almost $250 in postage, but on 12/29/2104, I completed my 365 Postcards project.

I've made a couple new friends and reconnected with old ones.

I've sent and received cards from 37 countries. I've sent cards to 15 states and the District of Columbia.

I've gotten into at least one loud conversation with a surly postal worker (She totally started it).

Most importantly, I reached out, which is the point of our existence, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Thank you to everyone who participated. I love you.

Hello! You've arrived here either because you've received a postcard or you've been drinking wine.

In either case - Welcome!

Here's what's going on...

I have been collecting postcards from here and there for over 20 years, and now I have lots. They aren't doing me any good just sitting in a box, so I've decided to send them out and share them with my friends and strangers.

I will send at least one postcard for every day in 2014.

In addition to using the service Postcrossing, I will send cards to my friends in a sort of round-robin until I get more addresses. That's where you can help. If you know someone who needs to get a postcard, enter their address and I will add them to the list. If you want a postcard yourself, enter your info as well. I won't share your or your friend's info with anyone. That's gross.

Or, if you want to send me a postcard, go ahead.

TL;DR
I'm sending at least 365 postcards in 2014 and hope to receive some as well.
